Node Landscape Design LLC was started by Roxanne Andersen who completed the Landscape Architecture program at Merritt College.  In addition, she holds a Permaculture Design Certificate.  Roxanne was the former owner of Handsown Nursery which specialized in growing edible plants for the East Bay.  She is a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers. 

A Bay Area native, Roxanne has 25 years experience gardening in our microclimate.  Her own garden was featured in a Bay Friendly Garden Tour.  Today, her garden grows a wide array of edibles from tomatoes to bananas and is her research lab for testing ornamentals from all over the world.

Some definitions of "Node" (Oxford Dictionaries):   A point in a network or diagram at which lines or pathways intersect or branch.  The part of a plant stem from which one or more leaves emerge.
